Over the years any set that may have fallen into 'less scrupulous' hands has the potential to allow an unsuspecting collector to be fooled. Supplying the hobby with copies of the images is a laudable action as it provides valuable tool for all traders. Eductaion is a 'good' thing. I did not mean to imply any intent to the 'issuer,' but its possible effects in the 'aftermarket.' Thanks for all of your scans and continued input. Bill Ray,

All accounts indicate he had them produced NOT for the purpose of fraud or deception. Instead (as I understand), he gave them to friends / fellow lodge members as gifts or trade (of nominal value). He openly represented them as reproductions and date back to the late 1960's. There were 25 sets (of 4 patches) produced.
