Pwamas Chapter Shinnecock Lodge variation found R1a & R1b

I recently acquired a Pwamas Chapter round from Shinecock Lodge, what I thought would be a duplicate of the R1. When I checked it with the R1 in my collcetion I noticed several differences. In colors, the new variation has a darker blue background and dark yellow border when comared to the old R1. The most visible difference though is that the ‘new’ variety has a “thick” spearshaft.

The “new” variety is pictured on top, the “old” version (which matches the image on oaimages) is underneath.
