Did each lodge have to vote to accept the backpatch design (in addition to the flap design) or was that simply a vote of the CoC? Who benefited from the sale of the backpatches (section or lodge)? How does this item (backpatch) differ from conclave pieces that depict lodge names and/or numbers (are conclave pieces that depict each of the lodge's names/totems/numbers really lodge pieces?.....after all, lodges do issue conclave contingent items....how does that differ from a section item depicting each lodge? I would consider this to be an official patch from that one lodge and would collect it accordingly. Since, all 8 lodges are mentioned, and each lodge has agreed to this issueance, it would seem that the JP should be part of each lodges history. I know of one of the 8 lodges did not issue any other NOAC 2006 patches, and used the section items as their 2006 noac items . In fairness, I would not collect 8 JP's if I were collecting all 8 of the NE 3B lodges . One would do, for budetary reasons.
