Loon Lodge Merger Information
The lodges formerly known as 19 and 364 are now in the same council. Theytravelled together to NOAC and issued a joint two-part set.According to their display, they will become Kittan 364 (!) in “2006″. Ipressume that to mean 2007 as they used their names (Haudeno… and Loon) on the NOAC patch and surely both still have a charter for this year.I found the use of 364 a bit unusual, but then again with all of 19’smergers Loon is actually the longer standing lodge. :-;
What John did not realize (or remember) is that 364 is the Council number for Twin Rivers Council.

Adirondack Council 394 merged with Twin Rivers Council 364 on 2/14/06 officially. Loon Lodge 364 & Haudenosaunee 19 merged 7/1/06. FYI, Cory Haynes Associate Advisor Loon Lodge 364.

Cory,
Has this information been posted anywhere? I can’t find it on the Loon or Haudenosaunee Web Sites, nor the Twin Rivers or Adirondack websites.
Did Loon conduct its last Vigil, were the lodges a single entity at last weekends conclave? Is Loon still planning a ‘death’ flap?
Looking for any additional information.

From what I witnessed they were one lodge for conclave. They were treated as such for the section business meeting. For Section officer votes, the lodge was called as Kittan. Chris Meacham - Lodge Chief, Lodge #34

Chris,
Thanks for the comment. I am somewhat torn in how to list these issues for the Blue Book. Are they joint issues of the old lodges 19 and 364 or are they the first issues of the new Kittan (sp?) 364?
Appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Regards,
Bill
